The Changhua County Government is implementing various infrastructure and administrative development projects. Recent initiatives include the NT$236 million restoration of the century-old Nan-guo Dormitory complex to create a ‘Nan-guo Youth Entrepreneurship Base’ and the opening of the Erlin Transit Station to enhance regional connectivity through 14 bus routes.

Administrative developments include the commencement of a 196 million TWD four-story complex in Yuanlin. Intended to house the Yuanlin Land Office and Yuanlin Household Registration Office, the facility aims to create an integrated service cluster near existing tax and health facilities, with completion expected by 2028. In preparation for the National Day holiday from October 9 to October 11, the Environmental Protection Bureau also released specific waste collection schedules for the county’s 26 townships and cities.

Regarding public works and community amenities, the county recently held its 3rd Public Works Quality Award ceremony, honoring 21 projects. Magistrate Wang Hui-mei noted that the county’s public works inspection grade A rate has increased from 58% to 90%. Under a ‘one township, one characteristic park’ policy, construction has begun on the 20 million TWD Shigu Exploration Forest playground in Shengang Township. Additionally, the 22 million TWD Dacheng Chifeng Park has officially opened in Dacheng Township, featuring a transportation-themed playground that connects to the Dacheng Sports Park.
