In Chapadmalal, Argentina, local residents have initiated protests and social media campaigns against businessman Darío Giordano and his partner, Miren Algañarás. The unrest follows public allegations by Valentín Yankelevich, who detailed instances of alleged physical and verbal abuse suffered during his childhood at the hands of Giordano.

Initial community reactions included expressing concerns via social media regarding local youth seeking employment at the couple’s gastronomic business. As the situation progressed, residents organized a commercial boycott and began collecting signatures for formal petitions. These petitions are being directed to the local police station and the Municipality of General Pueyrredón in an effort to seek the couple’s departure from the area.
