Athletes from Chapecó have transitioned from preparatory competitions to active participation in the 25th Catarinense Student Olympics (OLESC).

Prior to the games, the city’s rhythmic gymnastics team secured 28 medals in Blumenau, and the city finalized a delegation of approximately 250 athletes to compete across 25 different modalities. 

During the athletics portion of the OLESC held in Timbó, Chapecó athletes earned seven medals, placing fourth in the men’s general classification. Notably, Pietro Bagnara Radeski set a new OLESC record in the long jump with a mark of 7.26 meters, breaking a 20-year-old record.
