Sega and former Superbike World Champion Sylvain Guintoli are coordinating the auction of the ‘Dark Rider,’ a custom motorcycle, to benefit the Luca Guintoli Foundation. The foundation was established by Guintoli and his wife in memory of their son to support children facing autism or cancer.

The motorcycle, originally created by Bourget’s Bike Works, was customized by Sega in 2024 for the ‘Fearless: Year of Shadow’ campaign to promote ‘Sonic X Shadow Generations’ and the ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ film. Featuring a red-and-black color scheme inspired by the character Shadow the Hedgehog, the bike is equipped with a 1,750cc S&S Super Stock engine and an Ultimate six-speed gearbox.

The auction is scheduled to take place at the Bonhams Autumn Stafford Sale on October 11, 2026. Bonhams has waived its fees to ensure all proceeds go directly to the foundation. The motorcycle is estimated to sell for between £10,000 and £15,000.
