The fifth edition of the Chennai Open 2026, organized by the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), is scheduled to take place at the TNGF Cosmo Golf Course from September 8 to 11. The tournament features a prize purse of INR 1 crore.

The field includes prominent Indian professionals such as Saptak Talwar, Veer Ahlawat, and Om Prakash Chouhan. Defending champion N. Thangaraja of Sri Lanka will compete alongside an international roster including players from Bangladesh, Thailand, Japan, the Czech Republic, Uganda, Nepal, the United States, and Ireland. Local Chennai-based professionals S. Prasanth, S. John Royan, Ilayaraja C., and C. Arul will also participate. The event is supported by CPCL to aid regional golf development.
