Cherno More Varna has officially denied rumors of a financial crisis, stating that the budget for the 2026/2027 season has increased and all salaries are being paid on time. Despite these assertions, the National Fan Club expressed deep dissatisfaction with the club’s leadership, citing unfulfilled promises and suspicions regarding match integrity.

As the club faces a difficult period in the efbet Liga, currently sitting in last place, the tension between supporters and management persists. Ahead of a match against Septemvri Sofia, the national fan club called for supporters to attend the stadium to support the team and coach Ilian Iliev, while explicitly maintaining their opposition to the current ownership and management.

In a recent match against Septemvri Sofia, Cherno More secured a 2-0 victory at Ticha Stadium, moving off the bottom of the table with 9 points. Georgi Lazarov and Vasil Panayotov scored in the first half to secure the win. However, the match was marked by disruptions, including a five-minute kickoff delay due to a nearby power strike and an interruption during the second half when fans threw flares onto the pitch to protest the club's management. Following the match, coach Ilian Iliev expressed hope that strong results might alleviate the recent internal tensions within the club.
