Various community and competitive events were held in Poland. In the Podlaskie region, the ‘Active Senior 2026’ initiative hosted the Third Age Student Games in Białystok, involving 132 seniors in physical and mental challenges. Concurrently, the XV Chess Grand Prix took place in Terespol, featuring 53 players across multiple age and gender categories.

In Katowice, the 11th Synerise National School and Kindergarten Chess Championships were held at the Spodek arena. The event drew over 1,000 young competitors. Organizers noted the increasing popularity of chess in the country, suggesting that the scale of the tournament may require larger venues, such as the PGE Narodowy stadium, for future editions.
