Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Shivrinarayan Mahotsav in the Janjgir–Champa district, participating in religious ceremonies such as the Maha Aarti of the Mahanadi River. 

During the festival, the Chief Minister announced several infrastructure and environmental projects, including the construction of a bridge over the Mahanadi River costing more than 63 crore rupees, the establishment of a Sewage Treatment Plant to protect the river, and development works related to the Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit. 

Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted industrial growth at Nava Raipur, noting a new 150 crore rupee investment by Yash Fans and Appliances Limited which is expected to create over 3,500 direct jobs. Sai emphasized state policies aimed at incentivizing labor-intensive industries to support local employment.
