The 2026 Chihuahua Youth Parliament began with the announcement of selected participants intended to foster participatory democracy and legislative knowledge. Deputy Magdalena Rentería Pérez noted the initiative would allow youth to express district concerns through training provided by the State Human Rights Commission.

Following the announcement, 33 participants conducted a legislative simulation at the State Congress. During this session, participants worked within specialized commissions—such as Education, Health, and Environment—to focus on public policies regarding quality education and youth involvement in state politics.

Additionally, a delegation of 25 young people from Chihuahua has been selected to represent Mexico at the IX International Youth and Human Rights Summit in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, scheduled for December 4 to 6.
