An 11-year-old boy, Luanderson Porto, died after drowning in the Lago da Zona Leste in Sorriso, Brazil. The incident occurred on a Saturday while the child was playing with his brother. 

Reports indicate the boy entered a section of the lake that appeared shallow but was actually deep, remaining submerged for approximately five minutes.
