Chilean musical acts have announced various upcoming performances and releases. In late October, it was confirmed that the dark folk group Bosque de Hualles would open for Apocalyptica in Santiago, while the rock band Fahrenheit was scheduled to open for Def Leppard and Extreme.

Following these announcements, other independent groups scheduled local shows for November. Los Peores de Chile planned an album premiere in Providencia, and in Temuco, bands La Cámara Chilena de la Destrucción and La Estrategia del Caracol scheduled a concert to celebrate their split album, featuring guest appearances by Aeródromo.
