Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in Abia State, has engaged in community outreach and political planning ahead of the 2027 elections.

In September 2026, Anyaso donated a fully equipped ambulance to the Bende Local Government Area to support regional healthcare delivery. He noted that the donation was intended to complement existing state investments in the health sector.

By October 2026, Anyaso signed the ‘Bende Prosperity Contract,’ a development blueprint titled ‘Walk With Me.’ The document outlines specific commitments to agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, security, and youth development. Anyaso framed the contract as a measurable agreement for accountability, distinguishing it from a traditional manifesto, and pledged to serve a maximum of two terms.
