The China Great Wall Museum in Beijing’s Yanqing District has officially reopened to the public following an extensive renovation and modernization process. Located at the foot of the Badaling section, the facility had been closed since April 2022 for redevelopment.

The 16,000-square-meter museum features a new architectural design meant to integrate with the surrounding mountains and vegetation. The facility includes exhibition areas, educational spaces, research rooms, and collection storage. Its permanent exhibition displays over 700 cultural relics that trace 2,000 years of construction history and the evolution of preservation methods.
