Content creators in China are documenting various approaches to interior design and living spaces. In Chengdu, a blogger showcased a year-long renovation of a 150m² duplex apartment, utilizing a retro-inspired, minimalist design with grey, white, and dark wood tones to create a peaceful retreat.

In Chongqing, a 31-year-old blogger shared her experience personalizing a 15m² rental room. Unlike the minimalist approach in Chengdu, this space utilizes a maximalist style with pink tones and various ornaments to create a “princess” or dollhouse-like environment, prioritizing personal comfort and aesthetic joy despite a longer commute.
