Choral music events have been held across Germany and Italy. In Waldsassen, Germany, ensembles including the Basilica Waldsassen Choir and the Czech Virtuosi Orchestra performed works by Antonín Dvořák. In Bolzano, Italy, the South Tyrolean Choral Association hosted a “Pop Choir for All” workshop where over 60 participants performed various genres.

In Germany, new initiatives have been launched to utilize choral music for social and civic purposes. The Wuppertal-based organization ‘börse’ introduced the ‘Demokratiechor für alle’ (Democracy Choir for All) project, which aims to engage school choirs in political songs to promote human rights and social unity ahead of state elections. Additionally, the broadcaster ARD has initiated the ‘Wir singen! Weihnachten in Deutschland’ (We Sing! Christmas in Germany) project, seeking choirs to share their personal stories through television, radio, and digital platforms.
