Professional wrestler Chris Jericho has addressed his career trajectory following a new contract signing with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Jericho indicated that he would not take it personally if his commitment to AEW affects his prospects for the WWE Hall of Fame, stating that his nearly two decades of work with WWE should stand on its own merits.

Jericho also discussed his professional philosophy of collaborating with promoters and the role of factions like the ‘Inner Circle’ in AEW, noting they were created to help establish new stars. Recent activities include a reunion with former WWE star James Ellsworth and the announcement of an upcoming match teaming with the Hardy Boyz at the Rock N'Roll Rager at Sea on November 11.

Reflecting further on his legacy, Jericho noted that his 36 years in the business and his career accomplishments, including memorable matches and character creations, are sufficient to warrant Hall of Fame recognition. He acknowledged that his current affiliation with AEW might complicate a potential WWE induction due to industry politics or tribalism, but stated he is not personally insulted by this reality. While expressing openness to an AEW Hall of Fame induction, Jericho emphasized that he considers himself to be in a Hall of Fame through the impact he has had on fans and the appreciation of those who follow his work.
