The Chuông vàng vọng cổ 2026 competition progressed through its final rounds in Ho Chi Minh City.

During the second final round, contestant Trần Trí Khang was eliminated after receiving the lowest score of the night. Although judges noted his exceptional vocal quality and a voice reminiscent of legendary artists, they observed that his performance of ‘Khánh Hòa miền thương nhớ’ lacked the necessary fluidity and sincerity.

In the third final, five contestants performed social cải lương excerpts. Huỳnh Văn Tánh, coached by NSƯT Ngọc Đợi, was recognized for his emotional portrayal of ‘Duyên kiếp’. Huỳnh Kim Tho secured the highest score from the judging panel, including NSND Phượng Loan, for her performance of ‘Lan và Điệp’.
