CJ 4DPLEX is expanding its SCREENX immersive cinema format through various international partnerships.

In Europe, an agreement with Pathé Cinémas will introduce four new SCREENX locations across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, with operations expected by the end of 2026. This builds on previous collaborations involving 4DX technology and the 2018 launch of SCREENX in Paris.

Simultaneously, a partnership with Cinemark will add 20 new auditoriums to Cinemark’s global circuit, including 17 locations in the United States and three in Latin America. Six of these U.S. locations are scheduled to open in 2026. CJ 4DPLEX also intends to release at least four films specifically shot for the SCREENX format in 2027.
