Sources: 3. Developments: 2. Co-op Wholesale is undergoing strategic operational shifts to support independent retailers and Nisa partners. The company announced it will discontinue its rapid delivery app, Peckish, on 2 November, after the platform failed to reach its goal of 1,000 independent stores, onboarding only 68 retailers. In its place, Co-op is pivoting to an IT integration with Snappy Shopper, which will link directly to the Evolution EPoS till system to automate stock control and pricing. This integration will also allow retailers to manage orders from Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats through a single interface. Simultaneously, the wholesaler is expanding its ‘food to go’ and bakery offerings for Nisa stores, moving toward advanced hot food solutions through partnerships with providers like Country Choice. Co-op has also redesigned its early ordering service for the 2027 spring and summer season, improving usability across mobile and desktop devices and expanding the product range to include Co-op brand Easter bakery lines. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-15: Co-op Wholesale expands food-to-go services and ordering platforms Co-op Wholesale is enhancing its support for Nisa retailers by upgrading food-to-go capabilities and launching a redesigned, mobile-friendly early ordering platform for the 2027 season. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/co-op-wholesale-expands-food-to-go-services-and-ordering-platforms ### 2026-10-07: Co-op Wholesale to discontinue Peckish app in favor of Snappy Shopper integration Co-op Wholesale is shutting down its Peckish delivery app on 2 November, shifting focus to an EPoS integration with Snappy Shopper to better support independent retailers. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/co-op-wholesale-to-discontinue-peckish-app-in-favor-of-snappy-shopper-integration --- Cite as: Co-op Wholesale strategic service updates.
