The University of Texas swimming and diving teams achieved dominant victories during a tri-meet in Bloomington, Indiana, against Indiana University and Northwestern University. 

Competing in a short course meters format to prepare for the short course World Championship Trials, the No. 3 ranked women’s Longhorns swept the competition, defeating Indiana (188-112) and Northwestern (250-50). Several athletes, including Jillian Cox, Piper Enge, and Audrey Derivaux, met ‘A’ qualifying standards for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships. 

The No. 1 ranked men’s team also recorded sweeps, defeating Indiana (177.5-122.5) and Northwestern (224-76). Notable individual performances included Rex Maurer winning the 200 and 400 freestyle, and Will Modglin securing an ‘A’ qualifying standard in the 50 backstroke.
