Colo Colo is experiencing divergent results across its football divisions. While the club’s youth teams have seen significant success in recent Superclásico matchups against Universidad de Chile—including victories for the Sub-11, Sub-12, and Sub-16 squads—the professional team is facing instability.

Despite currently leading the Chilean Primera División with 55 points, the professional squad has failed to win in its last four matches. This recent slump includes a 1-1 draw against Palestino, where Javier Correa scored for Colo Colo before Enzo Roco equalized late in the game. Former player Lucas Wilchez suggested that frequent league interruptions and a lack of competitive rhythm have contributed to the team’s recent performance issues.
