Commemorations have been held in Italy to honor Norma Cossetto, an Istrian student killed during the foibe massacres. In Trieste, ceremonies included laying wreaths at her monument with participation from civil, religious, and military authorities. In San Martino al Cimino, the Comitato 10 Febbraio organized the ‘Una Rosa per Norma Cossetto’ event, where participants called for truth and justice regarding the history of the massacres.

Subsequent events across Italy included further remembrance of Cossetto in Potenza Picena. Organized by the February 10 Committee, this ceremony honored her as a symbol of human dignity and a victim of wartime violence, serving as a reminder against the oppression of individuals and violence toward women. Other national ceremonies also took place, such as in Cervignano del Friuli, to honor non-commissioned officers fallen in service.
