Recent publications have been released to honor the legacy of the late Italian footballer Gigi Riva.

In October, journalists Claudio Ferretti and Matteo Fontana presented ‘Rombo di Lago’, a biography exploring Riva’s roots and connection to his birthplace. The book was presented in Leggiuno and Cocquio Trevisago, utilizing research and interviews supported by Riva’s family.

Following this, the Italian Encyclopedia Treccani announced a new volume for its ‘Miti Italiani’ series. Written by Riccardo Milani, the work traces Riva’s sporting achievements and his status as a national myth. The volume is scheduled for presentation in Cagliari on November 7, the date that would have been Riva’s 82nd birthday.
