Events and statements have emerged in Italy to mark the centenary of the birth of Pino Rauti, the former secretary of the Movimento Sociale Italiano (MSI).

Eugenio Trombino, leader of the Fratelli d’Italia group in the Rende City Council, issued an official statement describing Rauti as a “cultural vanguard” whose ideological toolkit remains essential for understanding modern complexity.

In Naples, a gathering at the La Contea study center featured discussions on Rauti’s legacy. Senator Isabella Rauti, president of the Pino Rauti Study Center, characterized her father as a “non-conformist thinker” whose political insights anticipated contemporary issues such as migration, demographic crises, and critiques of globalization. Other speakers described him as an “unsettled intellectual” who addressed the rise of “hyper-capitalism” and the cultural dimensions of politics.
