Authorities in Italy have responded to various theft and burglary incidents across different locations. In Bagnolo, Carabinieri arrested three individuals following an attempted theft of chocolate from a supermarket, during which a manager was shoved. A subsequent search of their vehicle uncovered 800 euros worth of cosmetics and food. In Maida, a Georgian national was apprehended at the Due Mari shopping center after an attempted theft at a perfumery; the suspect reportedly used a handmade metal pouch to bypass anti-theft systems.

In a separate series of events in Bagnolo in Piano, three commercial businesses—a bar, a pastry shop, and a pharmacy—were targeted during coordinated overnight burglaries between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
