On October 10, 2026, several local organizations, including the St. Sebastianus Schützenbruderschaft Bad Honnef 1325 e. V., celebrated the tenth anniversary of the ‘Schützen-Gala’ at a sold-out Kursaal. The event featured a jubilee film and remarks from Mayor Philipp Herzog regarding social cohesion. Following these celebrations, the 30th annual Martinimarkt autumn market commenced on October 21 and is scheduled to run through October 25. Coordinated by the ‘Innenstadtgemeinschaft Centrum Bad Honnef’ and the JK Event agency, the market features approximately 120 stalls and street vendors offering handicrafts, regional products, and culinary options. The program includes a retail opening weekend. Due to the event, the city center is closed to traffic until October 26 at 2:00 PM. Officials have recommended that visitors use public transportation, such as buses or trains, due to limited parking availability. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-21: Bad Honnef hosts 30th annual Martinimarkt autumn market Bad Honnef celebrates its 30th Martinimarkt from October 21–25, featuring 120 stalls of handicrafts and regional goods. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/bad-honnef-hosts-30th-annual-martinimarkt-autumn-market ### 2026-10-12: Bad Honnef celebrates tenth anniversary of Schützen-Gala Three local organizations in Bad Honnef celebrated the tenth anniversary of the ‘Schützen-Gala’, a major community event featuring a sold-out ceremony and local traditions. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/bad-honnef-celebrates-tenth-anniversary-of-schtzen-gala ### 2026-10-09: Bad Honnef celebrates 30th anniversary of Martini Markt Bad Honnef celebrates the 30th anniversary of its Martini Markt from October 21 to 25, featuring 130 exhibitors of handicrafts and culinary specialties. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/bad-honnef-celebrates-30th-anniversary-of-martini-markt --- Cite as: Community celebrations in Bad Honnef.
