In late September 2026, the community of Sarh, Chad, launched the “Les Femmes d’Abord” project. This initiative, led by “Les Leaders de Sarh,” focuses on promoting girls' education and reducing school dropout rates. The initial phase provides academic support to 38 girls and includes training in entrepreneurship and financial management to foster female autonomy.

Following this, the municipality of Sarh initiated a local development program in early October 2026. In partnership with the Bureau of Expertise in Water, Sanitation, Development, and Social Engineering (BEEADIS), the town launched a training workshop for investigators. These investigators are tasked with conducting household surveys and community discussions to gather data on health, sanitation, water access, and socioeconomic conditions to guide future municipal interventions.
