The municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde has hosted several community-focused cultural and recreational events organized by the Secretariat of Culture and Tourism.

In late September, the third edition of the Artes e Cores Festival was held at Praça do Rio Verde. The festival included plastic arts, ballet, regional and urban dance, capoeira, and jazz, alongside musical performances by the Orquestra Popular and various youth bands. The event also integrated oral health guidance through a partnership with Sesc.

Following this, the second edition of Estação Kids was organized to celebrate Children’s Day. This event featured cultural workshops, inflatable toys, and recreational games. A specific highlight included a BMX mini-circuit provided by the Secretariat of Sports and Leisure, which featured acrobatic performances by the Lucas Riders group.

In October 2026, the City Hall released preliminary results for Public Call Notice No. 09/2026, intended to select cultural projects for the artistic programming of the ‘Vila do Natal da Esperança’. Of the 20 projects submitted, 19 were approved. A period for appeals regarding procedural irregularities or errors in criteria is scheduled from October 22 to October 26, with final registration homologation results expected on October 27, 2026.
