Recklinghausen has hosted various community-focused events. In September, the city held the 27th Recklinghausen Music Night, which featured musical performances across local venues. This coincided with a bicycle safety demonstration organized by the ADFC and Aufbruch KlimaVest, which advocated for improved traffic safety and better protection for cyclists on heavily trafficked streets.

In November, the city scheduled the 38th edition of the Rudelsingen sing-along event at the Bürgerhaus Süd am Körnerplatz. This marks the return of the event following a seven-year hiatus.
