Salamanca has hosted various community-focused initiatives. In mid-September, the city held the second edition of Environmental Days at the Lonja de los Huertos Urbanos. Organized by Asprodes Plena Inclusión Castilla y León and the Salamanca City Council, the event included interpretive walks along the Tormes River, visits to the Huerta Otea Botanical Park, and workshops focused on urban gardening and seasonal gastronomy.

In early October, the Salamanca City Council organized Trade Week to support local neighborhood shops. The initiative featured a mobile tent visiting various city landmarks and health centers, offering commemorative items to residents who presented purchase receipts from local businesses.
