Conner Leavitt was announced as a contestant for season 35 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. His wife, Whitney Leavitt, a former semi-finalist on the program, has been providing him with advice to prepare for the competition.

During the season premiere, Leavitt was the first celebrity eliminated after performing a Salsa routine to Tag Team’s ‘Whoomp! (There It Is)’ with professional partner Adele Zaikman. The duo earned a score of 12/30 from the judges. While expressing disappointment, Leavitt, known from ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’, praised Zaikman’s talent and expressed gratitude for the experience.

Following his exit, Whitney Leavitt posted a supportive message on social media, encouraging him to ‘keep going after the things that scare you’. The premiere also saw the elimination of the season’s first same-sex pairing, Sarah Jane Nader and Hailey Bills.
