Santiago Nicolás has released his debut album, ‘Atrición’, which incorporates contemporary EBM and techno-industrial sounds. The eight-track project explores themes of modernity and human suffering, inspired by the artist’s time in an oncology center. One track, ‘Ensayo Continuo de Precisión’, features a collaboration with Kimin Kim and utilizes both Spanish and Korean linguistic elements.

In a separate development regarding industry trends, singer Luis Fonsi has commented on the changing structure of modern music. He noted that contemporary listening habits favor shorter songs with minimal introductions, requiring artists to reach the chorus quickly, often within 30 seconds, to meet audience expectations.
