Cooking gas prices in Brazilian cities such as João Pessoa and Natal have shown upward trends. In João Pessoa, a 7% increase implemented in mid-September led to 13kg cylinder prices averaging R$ 117.10 for cash payments. The Syndicate of GLP Gas Resellers of Paraíba (Sinregás-PB) attributed this adjustment to raw materials, federal taxes, and salary agreements.

In Natal, research by Procon Natal indicated that the average price for a 13kg cylinder reached R$ 114, a 10.67% increase compared to the previous year. Similar to João Pessoa, price fluctuations in Natal were linked to wage negotiations, collective bargaining agreements, and distributor cost adjustments.
