Copel has undertaken several infrastructure projects in Paraná to enhance energy security and grid reliability.

In mid-August, the company inaugurated the Nova Londrina substation in northwest Paraná. This R$ 78 million high-voltage unit operates at 138 kV and is intended to serve approximately 150,000 residents across nine cities. The project aims to support regional economic growth, tourism, and the agribusiness sector.

Following this, Copel launched a modernization initiative in the central region of Marialva. This project involves installing an automatic recloser to serve more than 10,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The technology is designed to respond automatically to momentary outages to minimize economic impacts and restore power more quickly.
