The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Sukhdev Jat in Jaipur for accepting a 10,000 rupee bribe. The officer, stationed at the Pratap Nagar police station, allegedly demanded the funds to provide assistance in a case, facilitate an arrest, and file a charge sheet.

Following a written complaint on August 11, the ACB orchestrated a trap. During the operation, the ASI was apprehended after placing the bribe money into his uniform pocket. Investigations are continuing under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
