Cosenza Calcio is experiencing a difficult start to the Serie C season. Under coach Federico Coppitelli, the team has earned only 2 points across the first six matches. While the club’s current league standing is partially supported by penalty points awarded to Crotone, on-field performance remains a concern due to the departure of key players and squad management challenges following new recruitments.

Statistical analysis of the roster shows a discrepancy between the overall squad age and the age of active players. Although the full squad averages 23.3 years—the fourth youngest in Girone C—the average age of the starting eleven over the first six matchdays is higher at 25.7 years.

The team faces a significant upcoming test against Bari, a top contender for promotion to Serie B, at San Nicola.
