Preparations for the 67th Cosquín National Folklore Festival, scheduled for January 2027, have commenced. Organizers have released the official poster celebrating the 60th anniversary of the ‘poncho coscoíno’ and announced that the full programming lineup and ticket sales will begin in early October.

Regional activities are underway, including a qualifying round in Comodoro Rivadavia that reintroduces the ‘Oral Folkloric Expression’ category. Additionally, the Government of Santa Fe has opened a call for dancers to join its provincial delegation. The Santa Fe production, themed ‘Santafesinas: historias de mujeres que hacen historia’, focuses on the role of women in the province’s cultural identity.
