Costco is expanding its Kirkland Signature lineup through the introduction of new products and the reinstatement of former favorites. Recent additions include Sparkling Energy Drinks in Tropical, Orange, and Peach flavors, as well as fresh, in-house Southern-style buttermilk biscuits in the bakery section. The snack and beverage expansion also features items like organic lemonade in 96-fluid-ounce containers and additive-free Sea Salt Popcorn.

A significant development is the store-by-store return of Kirkland Signature Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, which had been absent for two years following a 2024 removal. The product was previously replaced by Nestlé Toll House items due to a global cocoa supply deficit. The restocking has been reported in several U.S. states, including Texas, Connecticut, Oregon, Washington, Virginia, Arizona, California, and Georgia. 

Due to increased global cocoa market prices, the returning 4.5-pound bags are priced significantly higher than in 2021, at approximately $14.99 compared to the previous $7.99. Other items, such as Greek pasta salad, have also recently resurfaced in select locations.
