The Coupe de France fourth round features various regional matchups in France. In the Sarthe region, ten clubs have been drawn to compete, including a local derby between Beaumont-sur-Sarthe SA and La Suze Roëzé FC. While Le Mans FC is not participating in this stage, other regional fixtures include AS Neuville-sur-Sarthe against Pays de Palluau and Sablé-sur-Sarthe FC against Ancenis RCASG.

In another matchup scheduled for September 27, Sarrey/Montigny is set to face Marnaval. Sarrey/Montigny, a Régional 3 side, advanced to this round after an upset victory against Régional 1 side Saint-Méziéry. Sarrey/Montigny coach Damien Couturier indicated his team intends to use a “low block and counter-attacking strategy,” noting that the poor condition of the pitch at Stade du Chesnoy might offer a tactical advantage.
