In mid-October 2026, a violent altercation occurred in Viterbo’s historic center on Via Saffi. The incident, which reportedly began after a young man was allegedly robbed of his wallet, escalated into a physical street fight involving punches. State Police responded to the scene to manage the tension.

By late October, reports emerged of a wave of property crime in Viterbo, specifically between via Garbini and the Carmine district. Motorists reported finding vehicles heavily damaged and looted, with perpetrators smashing windows to access car interiors.
