Indonesian authorities have conducted several arrests related to theft and robbery across different regions. 

In August, police in Karanganyar arrested two men for stealing scrap iron from a warehouse, while in Surabaya, a man was intercepted by officers while attempting to sell stolen city iron chairs. 

By September, law enforcement targeted more violent criminal activity. In Purwakarta, police apprehended a group that used sickles to rob residents in a rubber plantation area. Simultaneously, in East Java, the Sukolilo Police arrested four members of a robbery gang operating in Surabaya and Sidoarjo. This gang was linked to at least 10 crime scenes, including two incidents where victims died after falling from their vehicles during thefts.
