Police in Greece have responded to separate violent incidents involving robberies and assaults. In Rethymno, two foreign men were arrested following an armed robbery on August 22, where suspects allegedly used a carbine and fired shots into the air to intimidate a victim. 

Additionally, an arrest was made following an August 21 assault at the Koridallos metro station. A man, described as a substance user, reportedly attacked a station master and officers from the ‘Ariadne’ Plan during an intervention. The perpetrator faces charges including disobedience and violence against public officials.
