Separate violent incidents have been reported in Bengaluru.

In late October, a 25-year-old chef from Bihar died following a road rage confrontation near Electronics City. The victim was allegedly dragged under a vehicle after a dispute with occupants of a speeding car. Police arrested three suspects who reportedly consumed alcohol before the incident, and authorities are searching for the vehicle owner.

In early November, a 45-year-old businessman was arrested in the Yelahanka area for the alleged murder of his employee. The victim, a native of Kerala, was reportedly assaulted with a cricket bat and an iron pipe after the employer discovered him in a room with his daughter. The victim was declared dead upon arrival at a hospital.

In early November, a cab driver identified as Indushekhar was arrested for the alleged murder of seven family members near Bhashyam Circle in the Rajajinagar area. The victims, including his wife, Sunitha, her mother Roopavathi, two brothers-in-law, Shivakumar and Shankar, their wives, Divya and Nalini, and a seven-year-old boy, Puneeth, were reportedly killed over a two-day period using a grinding stone. Police believe the motive was a long-standing domestic dispute regarding Sunitha’s relationship with her parental family.

To avoid suspicion, the accused reportedly told neighbors that his wife had gone on a trip and allegedly invited his brothers-in-law to his home under the pretext of a party. Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge stated that the accused allegedly brainwashed his 17-year-old daughter to assist in the crime. The accused reportedly attempted to conceal the crimes by transporting the bodies in a car and disposing of them at various locations, including Nandi Hills, Chamundi Hills, and Charmadi Ghat. While the body of the seven-year-old has been recovered near Nandi Hills, authorities are continuing search operations to locate the remaining six victims.
