Recent reports from Poland detail various criminal investigations and police-related incidents across several cities.

In Szczecin, two police officers from the Szczecin-Pogodno station have been suspended following an investigation by the District Prosecutor's Office. The officers face charges of exceeding their authority under Article 231 of the Penal Code. The investigation is linked to a man serving a 20-year sentence for the sexual assault of an infant; unofficial reports suggest the officers may have engaged in a form of vigilante justice against the convict. While the prosecution has confirmed the abuse of power investigation, there are allegations that charges related to Article 197 (rape or sexual assault) may also be involved. Minister of the Interior and Administration Marcin Kierwiński stated that while he will defend officers, he will not tolerate any violations of the law, announcing an internal inspection and a subsequent decision by the Chief Commander of Police.

Other reported criminal activities include a fraud in Konin involving a ‘son and policeman’ scheme, the theft of copper and diesel in Jasło, and an attempted arson in Ciechanów. Additionally, incidents of hospital assault, bomb threats, and ATM theft have been documented in Kozienice and Pszczyna.
