Sources: 7. Developments: 2. Police in Kasoa, Ghana, are conducting investigations into two separate violent deaths in the Awutu Senya East Municipality. In early October, authorities investigated the death of 28-year-old Monica Mawuse Bosso. Although the scene initially suggested suicide, investigators suspect the scene was staged to conceal a murder and sexual assault. Forensic teams identified signs of forceful penetration and torn clothing, while authorities also noted a suspicious GH¢2,000 withdrawal from the victim’s Mobile Money account. Later in the month, police investigated the death of 36-year-old mobile money agent Christian Nana Amponsah, also known as ‘Chapter 1’. Amponsah was found dead in a guest house with multiple knife wounds and a cloth covering his mouth. Investigators recovered three knives from the scene and noted that the victim’s mobile phones were missing, suggesting a possible robbery. A woman seen with the victim shortly before his death has become a person of interest. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-27: Kasoa police investigate death of mobile money agent Police are investigating the suspected murder of mobile money agent Christian Nana Amponsah, who was found dead with multiple stab wounds in a Kasoa guest house. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/kasoa-police-investigate-death-of-mobile-money-agent ### 2026-10-04: Kasoa police investigate suspected murder and sexual assault of 28-year-old Police are investigating the suspected murder and sexual assault of 28-year-old Monica Mawuse Bosso in Kasoa, Ghana, alongside a suspicious Mobile Money withdrawal. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/kasoa-police-investigate-suspected-murder-and-sexual-assault-of-28-year-old --- Cite as: Criminal investigations in Kasoa, Ghana.
