Authorities in France are conducting several distinct criminal investigations following multiple deaths across various departments.

In the Cher department, a 32-year-old man, Willy Baron, was arrested in connection with the murder of his 47-year-old partner in Châteaumeillant. The victim reportedly sustained multiple traumatic injuries.

In Aube, police are investigating the death of a 60-year-old man in Nogent-sur-Aube after witnesses reported seeing a group of individuals fleeing the scene. The victim had injuries to his head and face.

Other fatalities were reported in Montlouis-sur-Loire, where an elderly couple was found dead in a caravan; investigators currently suggest an accident rather than criminal activity. In Ancerville, an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death for a woman nearly 80 years old found in her home.
