In Accra, a Circuit Court sentenced 32-year-old Emmanuel Akpatsa to 15 years in prison for unlawful entry and attempted robbery. Akpatsa, a former driver, reportedly entered a residence in Okpoi Gonno armed with a kitchen knife to demand a motorbike. He was overpowered by a security guard and a police officer.

In a separate case in Accra, 28-year-old Thomas Agambaa was sentenced to 15 years for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery involving a former employer. Additionally, the Odumase-Krobo Circuit Court sentenced Anani Bakar to four weeks in prison after he pleaded guilty to stealing plantains from a farm in Nuaso Newtown.
