The Croatian Ministry of Defence has initiated several personnel and training programs. In September 2026, the Ministry announced vacancies for various NATO positions to be filled by July 2027, including roles in Belgium, Spain, and Italy. 

By October 2026, the Ministry expanded its domestic recruitment efforts by calling for thirty candidates to undergo level I progressive military training for the first reserve officer position within the infantry combat branch.
