On September 10, a crop-dusting aircraft crashed in a rural field in the Perdices area of Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos, while performing fertilization tasks. The impact caused a small fire, which was contained by the Ceibas Volunteer Firefighters.

The 56-year-old pilot sustained a pulmonary contusion, abrasions, and multiple traumas. After being treated in intensive care at the Hospital Centenario de Gualeguaychú, he was subsequently discharged once his condition stabilized. 

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, with mechanical failure being considered a preliminary hypothesis.
