On September 15, 2026, Can Tho police arrested Le Tan Buu, a suspect linked to the attack on a grocery and currency exchange shop. The incident, led by Nguyen The Du, resulted in the death of shop owner Sam Hak and injuries to his family. Authorities apprehended Buu in the mountainous Lam Dong province and seized various assets, including gold, USD, and VND.
